Agile CoachingAgile coaching

Lego Serious Play

LEGO® Serious Play™

LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is an innovative, experiential process designed to enhance business performance. Based on research that shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of the world and its possibilities, LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is an efficient, practical and effective process that works for everyone within an organization. Participants come away with skills to communicate more effectively, to engage their imaginations more readily, and to approach their work with increased confidence, commitment and insight.

When personal desire drives you to learn something using your hands, a complicated process takes over that generates a powerful emotional charge. Using your hands “releases” thoughts that are stuck in your head. What you learn in the process of creating 3-D even 4-D metaphors sinks much deeper into your mind than what you would learn through mere words or two-dimensional imagery. Thoughts that are “built” tend to be expressed in greater detail and are more easily understood.

Professional Scrum

Professional Scrum ™

The Professional Scrum Master (PSM) course is a 2-day course that covers the principles and (empirical) process theory underpinning the mechanics, rules and roles of the Scrum framework. Advanced tools for servant-leadership are provided to increase a Scrum Master’s effectiveness. These tools relate to behavioral shifts, working with people and teams, coaching and facilitation techniques, and addressing the organization.

Students learn through instruction and team-based exercises, and are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace.

Professional Scrum Master is THE cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and anyone supporting a software development team’s efficiency and effectiveness.

The Professional Scrum Foundations (PSF) course is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum in a highly practical way. Working in a series of Sprints, teams of students build a software application, thereby facing real-life problems. The mechanics, roles, principles and (empirical) process of Scrum are demonstrated. Common missteps and misunderstandings are discussed so students grow a higher awareness of their symptoms.

Professional Scrum Foundations is excellent training for teams and anyone wanting to experience the Scrum way of working. The course also provides the foundation of knowledge needed for role-focused training for Product OwnersScrum Masters and Developers.

CultureQs

 CultureQs ™

cultureQs lays the foundation for Accelerated Team Integration.

By challenging players (team members) to openly exchange perspectives on the core motivators governing their attitudes and behaviour, invisible barriers that hinder effective cooperation simply fall away.
The potential of the team is released enabling not just a common focus on their goals, but the high performance associated with the interaction of professionals with a diverse range of skills and backgrounds.

LiftOff

LiftOff ™

LiftOff refers to time set aside by a collaborative community (a team, a project) to intentionally explore and set in place what’s needed for success.

The activities to include in a LiftOff will vary according to team and context, and may include building the vision with leadership or training those who must deliver on the vision.

But there is a central practice that we’d like to see become common to all effective LiftOffs: Agile Chartering. This is “small a agile” chartering, that is to say “just enough” chartering, in contrast with heavier “up-front” traditional chartering processes defined by, for example, the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Agile Chartering has been in use for years by pracitioners like Diana Larsen, Ainsley Nies, Joshua Kerievsky, III and others.

The structure of Agile Chartering is described in the 2nd half of the book “LiftOff”. But a short definition is useful, too! Here is an early look at the “one-pager” that Fabian Schiller has in progress on behalf of the LiftOff14 core team

Otras colaboraciones
